I'm thinking of trying to write a story within the X-men/similar mutant universe at the moment...with a TG twist...it has been kicking around in my head for a while, and was re-ignited when I recently played X-Men legends again after several years

I'm thinking of a young man whose always felt slightly "wrong" but has been unable to investigate/examine who he really is and what these feelings mean...what with school, parents, and general concern/fear over what people would think and how they'd react(fairly standard story for a lot of potentially Trans-youths).....This is a primary idea, and although this is a topical basis for me to write due to the experiences of myself and some of my friends, it doesn't have to be....it could be a normal well adjusted youngster....time will tell with which feels best to write

Somehow he comes to the attention of someone like Sinister and is captured/experimented on as he is a "latent" mutant and potentially dangerously powerful. (this is more likely to be explained as coming to Sinister attention _again_ as there will have been involvement with regards to the parents and around gestation leading up to birth)

There is some form of inhibitor that was introduced early in gestation (nano-bots or some such) which are suppressing the X-Gene and the related activators (which involve stunting/forcibly restraining the growth of the 2nd X chromosome (as the Y chromosome is basically an underdeveloped X chromosome)

So, ideas now I am trying to figure out how to deactivate these nano-bots, the resulting horrific and devastating activation of gravity based powers (likened to a miniature singularity) and subsequent mutation which reverts the body back it's _actual and original_ genetic code ie XX (either fast or slow, I haven't decided yet)

From there, I will need to explore not only the tribulations of adjusting to a somehow familiar yet alien body, but also adjustments of everyday life, relationships, and obviously adventure with dealing with her new abilities.

Opinions would be welcomed from my few watchers....unfortunately artwork has never been an area I had an aptitude for, so unfortunately I won't be able to provide sketches to compliment the potential story
